Answer: Please call 214.288.8075 or email glori_meridianquartet.com for a quote. Every event is different and unique. Once I know the details, I can first, determine if we are available, and second, give you a rate.
We have several questions that we would like to go over with you. How should we contact you?
Answer: A majority of our business is conducted through email, some through phone calls, and occasionally in person.
I would be happy to talk with you at any time should you have any questions (this is, after all, concerning a milestone if your life!).
What is the benefit of a string trio?
Answer: For the bride on a tighter budget, this may be the perfect answer. The string trio provides the classic string sound, but at a substantially lower cost.
Are you available for the cocktail hour and/or receptions?
Answer: Yes! Just let us know when you call or email that you would are interested in including this and we can give you an accurate assessment of our availability and rate at that time.
What are the disadvantages of a string trio?
Answer: Like all things, there are two sides to this coin. The string trio is a smaller grouping (3 vs 4 players) and would not be ideal for larger weddings because of the smaller volume of sound. With a string trio, there is a much more limited selection of music. There is a reason the string quartet became a standard ensemble grouping after the father of the string quartet, Joseph Haydn, composed a number of pieces for this ensemble.
Do you have a wedding package?
Answer: Absolutely! Our wedding package includes music up to the first hour of performance time. This hour typically covers the entire ceremony, including 20 minutes of pre-wedding prelude music, all entrance music, processional music, any special music during the ceremony-such as unity candle lighting, recessional music, and several more pieces while people make their way out of the venue.
Do you travel outside the DFW area for weddings or events?
Answer: Absolutely! A nominal travel fee, starting at $80, may apply.
When is the balance due?
Answer: The balance is due by the day of your event, payable either by check or cash. Many people choose to pay beforehand. They find that it's easier and one less thing to worry about when there are other things to think about. In all our years, we have never missed or been late for a performance!

How do I book the Meridian String Quartet?
Answer: In order to reserve the date and time of your event, you will need to submit a signed contract and $100 deposit. There is an easy step-by-step process that I will walk you through.

Do you have other ensembles?
Answer: Yes! You can hire a string trio, duo, or soloist. Please keep in mind that the music selection varies greatly depending on ensemble selection.
